Interferences

Interferences is a set of sonic experiments with electromagnetic sounds, ever-present in the world around us but only audible through induction microphones. Recording several hours of such sounds, I deployed machine listening techniques to organise and structure glacial textures with intricate micro-level details. The two tracks in this album are the result of this process, and the dialogue between my intuitions and the computer’s listening to them.
